Measurements of energy harvesting performances
SERVICE DESCRIPTION:
The piezoelectric energy harvesting performance can be measured by using an experimental set-up device based on the vibrational system LDS V201, LPA100-230V amplifier (Brüel & Kjær), signal generator Tektronix AFG3051C, Oscilloscop Teledyne LeCroy high definition (2x200MHz), a circuit for rectification and energy collection, and a computer with LabView program for data acquisition. The circuit for rectification is a full rectifying bridge circuit with four BAT43 CD0000766 diodes (STMicroelectronics) and a capacitor C of 1.5 µF.

The 4748 and 4748A vessels are the largest of all Parr acid digestion vessels. The 4748 has a 125 mL, removable PTFE cup in a stainless steel body with six cap screws in the screw cap to seal the flanged PTFE cup. An expandable wave spring maintains continuous pressure on the seal during the cooling cycle when PTFE parts might otherwise relax and leak. Stirring can be provided with a magnetic stir bar. The 4748A is a 200 mL modification of the 125 mL, 4748 PTFE lined vessel for users who want additional capacity in this model. A safety rupture disc above the PTFE cup will blow out through an opening in the vessel head if pressure should accidentally reach the 3500 psi range. But for safe operation, pressures in these vessels should never exceed 1900 psi and temperatures must not exceed 250 °C. Operations should be conducted well below these limits whenever possible due to the potential destructive forces in a large vessel charge. It also is advisable to test any new procedures for safety in one of the smaller vessels before scaling up to these sizes. A wrench for the cap screws is furnished with these vessels. No other accessories are required.

An electrodynamic, permanent magnet shaker for fatigue and resonance testing, modal and structural analyses, and vibration screening of small components. Peak sine force ratings of 17.8 N (4 lbf) or up to 26.7 N (6 lbf), when forced-air cooled. CHARACTERISTICS LDS® V201 shakers are cost-effective, reliable and easy-to-operate. Their fabrication has been optimized to allow them to deliver superior peak forces and accelerations over a wide frequency range, from 5 to 13,000 Hz. Capable of imparting sine forces up to 26.7 N (6 lbf) when forced-air cooled and of reaching maximum accelerations of 136 g, they incorporate a moving armature that is both sturdy and lightweight to provide adequate support for test loads without diminishing force capability. Although cooling is not typically required for these shakers, provision is made for easy connection of a forced-air supply; this is only necessary when the input power is expected to exceed the specified figures. Because they are permanent magnet shakers, the V201 models do not need a field power supply. They can be driven by compact, quiet and energy-efficient amplifiers, such as the LDS® LPA100. They are compatible with LDS® COMETUSB™ and LASERUSB™ controllers, as well as with third-party vibration control systems. As standard, these palm-sized vibration generators come base-mounted but trunnion mounting is available upon request. Auxiliary suspension is also an option; for use when the mass of the test package exceeds suspension ratings, this feature increases payload capacity or allows the shaker to be vertically suspended from the test structure.
