Romanian Electoral Studies Datasets
SERVICE DESCRIPTION:
Romanian Electoral Studies (SER) is an informal collaborative network established in 2009 and dedicated to the study the Romanian electoral system, broadly defined, from the legislation in the area to electoral behaviour, electoral campaigns, electoral geography, and to parliamentary activity. As part of this collective research program, IDC develops projects aiming to place in a larger, comparative context the Romanian case, as well as to offer electoral studies scholars outside Romania access to relevant resources on electoral processes and outputs from Romania. SER brings together political scientists and sociologists from three of the most important universities in Romania (University of Bucharest, Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj and Lucian Blaga University in Sibiu), from civil society organizations (the Foundation for an Open Society), as well as from professional associations (Romanian Quantitative Studies Association).
