PLANT GROWTH CHAMBER

DESCRIPTION:
This plant growth chamber is a system, in which humidity, temperature and lighting can be adjusted in various cycles. The Microclima characterizes itself by a large temperature-range and growth surface. The lighting is situated above the working area, separated from it by thermal glass. The exterior of the chamber is made of coated electrolyte zincered steelsheet. The interior is made of Stainless steel, finished by Trespa sheet in the colour RAL9010. The interior is fitted with 2 platforms, in height adjustable. The lockable door system is fitted with a window, which enables you to follow the process. The chamber is executed with 4 (MC1000) wheels. A special controller, the JUMO IMAGO F3000, controls the temperature, humidity and lighting. The control-unit contains 99 programs, each with the possibility to set 99 day- and night steps (total maximum: 3.600 program steps). A complete program can be repeated continuously or an ending amount of times (1 up to and including 99). The chamber has a direct connection to the water mains. Humid air is being raised by an ultrasone generator, the dehumidification is realised by an evaporator. Heating is realized by a heating element. The lighting of the Microclima is standard executed by means of Fluorescent tubes, which can be set by 12 light steps. This makes it possible to simulate the daybreak and twilight. When the computer control is used, one can registrate the number of actual burning hours of each tube. This enables you to replace the tubes at the right time. The Microclima has, next to the alarmsystem of the controlunit, also a thermostatic temperature switch, which switches off the lighting, heating, cooling and dehumidification. An acoustic signal will be given when the set values are being crossed and when there is a power failure. All keys of the controller can be (un)locked, by switching the key lock near the controller for 45 degree.
